With the COVID-19 Pandemic still a concern, we ask that all those in attendance wear masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines. Those who feel ill or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 are kindly asked to stay home.  Ample space will be provided for attendees to spread out, and seating is available, but we highly encourage attendees to bring their own seating (folding chairs, lawn chairs, blankets, etc.) so that families can easily group together to accommodate for social distancing.  We have also decided to forego the food and beverages that ae usually provided at the ceremony due to safety concerns.  With these measures in place, and cooperation from all those in attendance, we feel we can safely provide Korean War Veterans and their families the recognition and honor that they deserve.

To get to the Memorial take Interstate Highway 39 to County Highway B in Plover.  Head west one block to Village Park Drive.  Turn left on Village Park Drive and you will be directed to parking areas. Bathroom facilities will be available for use through the Sentry Curling Center, which replaced the Worzella Pines Shelter in 2020.

About the Ceremony...

The program is held annually in rememberance of the Korean War.  Several veteran's groups from around the area participate, and we also invite State Representatives, Military personnel, DVA personnel and Korean Representatives to attend.

This event is open to all and is held outdoors, rain or shine.  We highly suggest that you bring lawn chairs, blankets, bottled water, jackets, hats, etc. to stay comfortable.

Veterans that had tiles purchased in their honor or memory are recognized in the ceremony amongst family, friends and members of the public.

Program duration is roughly 1 hour long.
